Cross Cultural (MS400W (H))

This  course  is  the  international  cross-cultural  seminar  that  students  complete  in advance  of  the two-week  immersion  experience in  a  Latin-American,  Middle-Eastern,  African,  Asian  or  Eastern European country  in connection with ecclesial  otherness,  particularly  Christianity,  in that culture.  The  seminar  includes  readings,  discussions,  and planning  to  orient  the  student  to  the people,  language,  culture,  customs,  worship and traditions  in that  setting.  The  seminar  meets for  three  weeks:  one  week  in the  fall,  one  in the  winter,  and one  in the  spring.
